How is fractional different from hiring a freelancer?

Freelancers execute tasks. I embed with your team for 1 month to 5 years and more so you don't re-explain your business every project.

Do you work remotely?

Yes. I'm Chicago-based and remote-friendly worldwide. We can plan and review remotely, and shoot on-site in Chicago, travel by project, or hire local crews.

Do you work solo or with a crew?

Both. Solo for efficiency (interviews, headshots, operating rooms). Crew when scale is crucial (commercials, documentaries, multi-camera productions).

What do I actually receive each month?

A set of edited videos, brand photos, and repurposed variations (short clips, vertical versions, selects) delivered on a predictable cadence.

A discovery call, then a simple monthly plan, first shoot, and weekly delivery rhythm.

Culinary genius and overall amazing person, Chef Webb hired me to shoot a private event dinner and the images were used for his website, social media and media kits. And I have to admit that, besides and amazing dinner, he also inspired me to look deeper into my passion for the culinary arts.

J.C. Anderson got its start in 1879 in the aftermath of Chicago’s Great Fire, helping to rebuild the city as a plastering contractor. They have since grown to become the largest interiors-only contractor in the Chicago area. I was hired to shoot branding photography at their office in the suburbs in 2014.

Mercy Hospital 50th Anniversary Gala

Before being sold and renamed, I worked for Mercy Hospital for the past 7 years as a photographer and media producer, creating educational content, headshots and event photography and video. The 50th anniversary Gala was a spectacular event and a chance for all the hospital’s heroes to attend one last major event under the name Mercy. A brief insight into the evening’s glamor is below.
