01
Building a New York production from Chicago
Wearpulse booked me to produce photography and video for GymRatzz Activewear, a Florida-based men’s performance-wear brand. The agency was in Maryland, the shoot was in New York, and I coordinated from Chicago. The brief called for two male models, the brand’s wardrobe, and one outdoor production day.
There was a week to assemble the team and one available shoot date, without a rain date. My responsibilities covered producing, photography, and cinematography. The early work was therefore practical as well as creative: find the right people, establish who could approve decisions, and make the day workable before anyone arrived on location.

02
Giving the client choice and the shoot clear responsibilities
I presented ten models from my network, from which the client selected two. I coordinated the production assistant and model releases, while the brand supplied the clothing. Wearpulse’s Kevin Lee represented the client on set and could approve looks and shots as we worked.
That division of responsibilities made the feedback immediate. We could move between wardrobe looks, stills, and motion with a shared understanding of what had been approved. An indoor-gym fallback was planned for weather, while the outdoor approach gave the activewear a setting beyond a studio backdrop.
03
Creating a library of movement and product detail
The two models wore multiple outfits, so the day needed to balance variety with useful coverage of each look. Photography and video shared the same production rather than being treated as separate shoots. The material included the clothing in motion, logos, pockets, and details that could support different brand placements.
I shot the video in S-Log3 and graded the clips to Rec.709 in DaVinci Resolve, providing a consistent starting point for the brand’s own edit. The selected client stills were supplied for its post-production. The photographs displayed in this portfolio were selected and edited by me; they represent my presentation of the shoot.

Separating the client delivery from later concepts
The client delivery was completed eight days after production and included the graded video, selected stills, and agreed model releases. The assignment came through a direct recommendation and was my first collaboration with Wearpulse. It brought together casting, crew coordination, stills, motion, and delivery across several locations and stakeholders.
The later 30-second AI-assisted social concepts are a separate portfolio exploration using the footage, rather than part of the original commissioned deliverables. The original production gave the agency and brand a flexible library of stills and motion, built through clear responsibilities, a working network, and a coordinated day on location.
